Lilasufi Sanctuary, founded by Dr. Leila Soufeiani, is a space dedicated to mindful living, connection, and community in Chirnside Park. Our mission is to guide individuals to pause, listen inward, and reconnect with their real power through yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. Everyone is welcome here.
Growing up in a country where gender bias and limitations for women were common, I faced many challenges just to be seen, heard, and respected. Through resilience and self-discovery, I became a high achiever while searching for my true self. Along the way, I explored different areas of science and research, but what truly transformed me was yoga. Since 2010, yoga has been my anchor — revealing extraordinary benefits beyond the physical body. It harmonises the mind, emotions, spirit, and energy, guiding us toward balance, healing, and awakening. For me, yoga is not just a practice but a lifelong journey of enlightenment, one I now feel called to share so that others may also awaken to their highest potential.
At Lilasufi Sanctuary, we believe yoga and mindfulness are for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re not flexible, are new to practice, or carry past challenges — the journey begins exactly where you are. Our philosophy is to create a welcoming space where people feel safe to pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves.
Through shared practice and community, we discover strength, peace, and joy together. Here, it’s not about perfection but about presence — walking side by side on a brighter, more conscious path, supporting and empowering one another every step of the way.
Leila is a Registered Yoga Teacher, a Mental Health First Aider, trained in Applied Neuroscience, and currently studying counselling. With a PhD in engineering and a strong scientific background, she brings a grounded and evidence-based perspective that complements her holistic approach to growth, self-discovery, and wellbeing. Leila draws energy and inspiration from nature, and brings warmth, empathy, and mindfulness to every session and interaction.
At Lilasufi Sanctuary, we believe true wellbeing arises from harmony — within ourselves, with others, and with nature. Our philosophy is rooted in compassion, inclusivity, and presence. We honour every individual’s unique path and create a safe space where self-discovery unfolds naturally.
Here, yoga and mindfulness are not just practices, but pathways to living with clarity, purpose, and peace. By coming together in community, we support and uplift one another, cultivating strength, resilience, and joy in everyday life.
